When I was a kid all the mom's used 3x5 index cards for recipes. Personally I like notebooks, but one does tend to spill on the paper kept close at hand while cooking (I do anyway.) Less inclined to use a software solution, but I guess I'd consider a soft-copy backup. What do folks here do?
