Besides making generic statements like "men should be the head like Christ" and "women should submit like the church" what are some specific roles for men and women?
Like should a woman cook, do the sewing, clean, raise the kids etc and the man work, provide food and shelter, mow the lawn manage finances etc?
Does the bible ever get into the specifics of day to day life? Is it okay for a man to do things like do the cooking and or be a stay at home dad or for the woman to be the book keeper of the finances, fix the car and go to work? Which of these roles are clearly biblical and which are come out of cultural stereotypes of the 1950s?
