Update!!!: We took her to the vet snd got her tested and checked for parvo. Luckily that came back negative. She was born on November 19 and semt to us on December 23rd!!! The puppy was only 4 weeks old when it flew for 4 hours.
The vets insisted we take action and contact animal control and hope they do something about these terrible people.
She also had very low blood sugar and was tested at 56. The vet said normal is 85-100.
We are very upset but still want the best for the little girl. It's not about the money. This is our family member
Girlfriend decided to get our next dog from a breeder, kind of behind my back and I'm looking for some advice.
I have nothing against her decision, I just want the healthiest life for the puppy. She is a female Siberia husky and right now she is very small. I think she is anywhere between 40-50 days old and should NOT have been separated from her mother.
She had supposedly asked the breeder for pictures and only got one the whole time. She has energy, pees regularly and her poops are actually stable. We just picked her up from the airport and is currently adjusting to life at home.
Should we bottle feed her? I have no gripes boiling chicken and cooking rice or even making the kibble soft enough to eat. Again, I just want what's best for the puppy.
We also have a 1 year old corgi in the house. Both dogs are up to date on their shots, and he had never been sick. Should we go as far to keep them in separate rooms?
Anything helps... thank you
