I love steel cut oats! Cheap, and really filling. I have mini, small & regular slow cookers. Have done the "metal bowl in the water filled slow cooker" method overnight; it's ok. I would like to know if anyone has ever used the smallest crock pot or a med sized one for their steel cut oats. Doesn't necessarily have to cook overnight, but would be better than standing & stirring. Thanks in advance! Edit: Cooking directly in the crock pot.
