So I bought these Nordic Ware cookie sheets, it was a great deal at Costco; 2 half sheets and one large sheet for $20
I tried baking with it twice (chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodles) and somehow I get different results. Same recipe, same temperature and same cooking time. First batch that goes in, takes too long to bake and ends up being flat, greasy and too chewy. Second batch takes a reasonable time to cook and gives me the result that I want. Third and final batch ends up being thick, crispy, and almost burnt on the bottom.
I also noticed that a recipe would suggest baking them for a specified time, let's say 12 minutes, but I always end up having to increase it. These pans have been great for roasting and everything else so I'm very frustrated. I'm also kind of a noob when it comes to baking, I can cook anything in the world but baking is always a gamble!
Any tips would help greatly!
