Fine dining in Gatlinburg may not be something you have thought about right away. However, it is something you need to consider when you are on a honeymoon or want to have a great sit down meal. The problem is you may think all the restaurants are the same and always seem to be rushed around. Here is a list of the five top Gatlinburg fine dining restaurants I have found and some information that I found from my trips to Gatlinburg, but also from the Internet.
Park Grill is one of the first places I will talk about. This restaurant is a great sit down style restaurant that you are not going to feel rushed at, but also will not have to skimp on the food you want because the price is affordable. Something else that is enjoyable about the Park Grill is the chance to get the food you want and even take your entire family to the restaurant if you desire.
The Peddler is another restaurant that is great for a fine dining experience. Now this is one location that I have not eaten at before, but the location is well known for its prime rib and other high quality meat cuts. However, I will caution you the prices are a little bit on the higher side and can cost a fortune for a family. Something else you will enjoy is the Peddler does have quite a high review on Tripadvisor.
Another restaurant that I have heard a lot about, but was not in Gatlinburg when I visited last is the Melting Pot. This restaurant is a good one to eat at if you enjoy the fondue style of eating. For me the fondue is not what I would consider to be a good eating trip, but I have to admit the fondue style of eating is for quite a few people considering it is a very popular restaurant according to Tripadvisor.
A great place to eat at and one that I always make it a point to go to is the Cherokee Grill. This location has some of the best sweet tea you can find and some great steaks. However, I will mention you need to watch what you are ordering and read the menu carefully. I know that I have had great food from the location, but this is also where I found out I have a love for Blue Cheese. The Blue Cheese was actually some thing I did not read because I just looked at the menu pictures and seen the picture and it looked good, which it is.
Greenbrier restaurant is another location I have not eaten at before, but it is definitely a place I will try to make it to. I know that for a lot of people this location can be costly, but it is also a place that is off the beaten path. However, from what I have read about the Greenbrier this is one of the best fine dining locations in Gatlinburg and always has top quality food.
Eating out in Gatlinburg is something you are always going to do and I know for a fact the fine dinging restaurants in Gatlinburg are top notch. However, if you do not know about some of these locations you can easily overlook the restaurants and not get the right place to go to for high quality food. You just have to make sure you read these restaurants and make sure you set aside at least one meal for these locations.
