How do I make a burger taste like a restaurant burger?

Ever since I was a kid I've been cooking and ever since I've been cooking I've been cooking cheeseburgers. They always turn out good but they never quite taste like a good pub burger. Home cooked burgers all have a very distinctive taste missing in restaurant burgers. All home cooked burgers sort of taste the same.

I've tried everything. From the thickness to the burger, to the spices, to the fat content, to the grill (or pan). Always good. Never restaurant quality.

What do I need to do?

Edit: I figured I would give my recipe I'm currently using. Use 70/30 ground beef and make 1/3 lb patties. Don't break up the meat a lot. Form the meat patties as tight as possible. Make patties larger than the buns and put a divot into the middle of the patty. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Cook on a skillet for about 4 min per side on medium heat.
