I get AARP newsletters (yup, I'm old!) and one of the articles in today's was "7 Foods You're Eating The Wrong Way". It was quite interesting, but they said something about rice that has me curious. they said that if you add oil to the water when cooking (they suggest coconut oil), then when cooked immediately chill it for 12 hours before reheating, it was lower in calories than rice done the traditional way. The problem is, they don't give the calorie count. Does anyone have a calorie and nutritional count on that? Or how would that be listed in MFP? I've never heard of anything like that before. It seems to me the oil would increase the number of calories.
