The game was running great, around 50~60fps on Ultra. The second I got to the river I noticed a huge drop in FPS, below 20. Thought it was due to all the vegetation, animals and natives. Then I move around a bit and the FPS goes up again.
Odd, so I did some tests and noticed that every time I'm looking at a flame, be it from a bonfire, a cooking fire or a torch, I get a huge FPS drop. Lowering graphics helps, but my FPS still drop to below 30 even on Medium whenever there's a flame on my screen, while my PC can run the game at Ultra just fine otherwise.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Aside from that I'm having a lot of fun, love the setting, love the desert and the immersion. Good job Funcom, great start, keep it up.
