I spent some time in Ireland and pureed soups are really big there. And really good. Actually, almost all the food in Ireland was really, incredibly good. Anyway, I tried making my own vegetable soup a couple weeks ago and... It was good, but a little on the bland side--i ended up adding probably too much cumin and garlic to give it a bit more bite.
So, anyway, next I plan to make some pureed chicken soup. I haven't really thought about it much aside for two things: I don't want the chicken complete pureed so I'll probably just mince half of it. I also want to add ginger because ginger is awesome.
Other than that I've no solid plan. Do any of you have any favorite recipes you could share with me to help me solidify my plans?
