Someone on fatlogic or something wrote that the words "eat less" didn't help her because she didn't know how to measure her food or monitor her calories or know the minimum calories she could eat each day to make a deficit. This made me think about how I didn't know how to feed myself.
My parents suck at food. Lots of bad cooking. No nutrients, very unhealthy and tastes like crap. No surprise that my family is fat and I don't think anybody in the family is in shape. I started to eat healthier and being picky about my calories because I'm also obese but this has brought other issues.
I'm low on iron and possibly estrogen (I'm also a girl fyi) which is making me very angry and moody. I know I can look up foods to help with any deficiencies but I'm curious how people do this automatically? How is it possible that people can choose what they want to eat and not have to keep tabs on their hormone levels/nutrients 24/7? I'm worried I will develop an eating disorder again.
Should I have days where I eat fish, then other days I eat chicken? Do I eat veggies with every meal? Do you eat the same veggies all the time? How often do you change up your meals? I'm getting sick of eating the same things over and over.
