Hello. Tonight (eight hours from now) I'll be attempting my first filet. I have a george foreman I'll be cooking it on. It's roughly an inch to inch and a. Half thick. Besides salt, pepper and seasonings, I need to know how long and how hot to cook this. I'm looking for roughly Medium-rare. I'd rather have it on the rarer side. Personally (was raised that way.) it's also bacon wrapped. Do I need to sear off the bacon? Do I press the steak between the two grill plates? Quarter turn?
