My roommate and I have very different sleep schedules, and from time to time, he will cook beef (not sure if he means for it to be well-done...) but the smell of his cooking somehow permeates the walls of our apartment, and even with my door closed, and being the furthest room from the kitchen, the smell seeps into my room.
Oddly enough, he DOES use the fan above the stove - which you would think would solve the issue - but it clearly isn't working.
The smell of burning/cooking food is preventing me from sleeping, as I am kept up thinking he is going to set off the fire alarm. Aside from air fresheners, and candles - is there anything you would recommend to prevent the smell from entering my room?
Disclaimer, there are no vents in my room where the scent could go through, it's just a door.
