It is day 3 here, the post-quit-blues might be setting in, but I am unsure. Yesterday I had a few thoughts I want to share with you:
Every time I've quit smoking it wasn't by choice, I simply ran out of money or couldn't find a reliable dealer. This time it is definitely by choice, but every time I've stopped smoking I've noticed the same things: Enhanced mental clarity, yet a sort of dizziness throughout my days. Perhaps my body is confused, awkwardly pumping out low amounts of dopamine it had so lazily been supplied.
Smoking weed is like the employee at your local fast food restaurant; cooking your food half-assed, slowly scooping your stale fries, and filling your drink with 95% ice. I miss the good taste, but I gotta deal with being hungry until my food is prepared properly, and healthily. Weed: Fast food. Natural highs: Gourmet dinner.
Today my body tingles, my mind in a sort of daze. This usually happens in the first week only, but I don't look forward to the day 4 blues sure to come tomorrow.
Best of luck, my fellow humans, in your journey to marijuana sobriety! The support I've received on my first post was incredible and helpful, thank you!
