my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer jan 2016, and passed after a long hard battle on the last day of 2016.
it hurts to look at everything. everyone is celebrating, people are celebrating being cancer free from other cancers. we haven't had good news in months. our holidays weren't the same because mom was incapable of eating or cooking, but we tried to make it normal for her. i think she put all her energy into christmas and then allowed nature to take its course.
i'm just so depressed. she was only 56. my parents would have been together for 30 years this may. it breaks my heart to see my dad grieve. it eats away at me to know she's not there to send me articles or respond to my texts.
