20 yr old lifelong vegetarian's foray into meat eating.

Hi guys, I'm 20 years old, born and raised in an Indian super-religious (Hindu), ultra-conservative vegetarian family. I came to the US at 18 to pursue undergraduate studies and am now a Junior in college. During my time here, I've become more independent and discovered my atheism. I've never really considered turning non-veg until recently when it just sorta snapped in me that I had neither moral (it's just seems natural and who am I to judge anyways) nor religious objections to meat eating. So, yesterday for the first time ever I, along with friends, broke my V and got a chicken tikka roll. My parents don't know, probably never will...we'll see. Anyways, I thought it tasted fine, nothing too extraordinary tbh (texture's quite like paneer/ soy nuggets except perhaps a little more rubbery, chewy). I made this decision (which I know is kinda meta) mostly cuz it's just easier meeting macros with lean protein plus I figured no harm in atleast giving it a shot than discounting it for life. Now that I've tried it, I think I can see myself eating it on a more daily basis. Anyways, my question to you guys is, (sorry for being long winded) what else should I try? I wanna move slow just cuz Ive heard that my body probs doesnt have enzymes to digest animal protein since I've never eaten meat. That said, I wanna slowly work my way up to eating 'gamey' meat like steak. Also, I'm really into cooking but have never cooked meat so I'll just eat out for now (might look up youtube to teach myself). I was wondering if you guys could give me suggestion on how I could progresively move to eating steak, perhaps a 1-week meal plan? (that would be really dope) Also, feel free to include your favorite unhealthy/healthy foods since obviously although i'll transition to eating lean/healthier longer term, I wanna try everything. God, I feel like I've opened a whole new world of possiblities! (It always sucked knowing that whenever I go out I have to skip reading over 90% of the menu) Quick note: I've kinda been programmed to dislike the smell/ taste of meat/fish all my life, but I think I'm mentally strong enough to reprogram that conditioning (meditation and being non-judgemental has helped with this tremedously) Even so, I should probably go slow.

Tldr: Lifelong vegetarian- converted to eating meat yesterday- looking for suggestions of things to try and work up slowly to eating gamey meat
