But seriously, hey! 32 years old male residing in the suburbs of Chicago, looking for a connection in all the wrong (right?) places! Tinder is a junkpile and other dating applications are tiring so what better place to try my luck than Reddit? I already spend enough time on it, might as well use it for this aspect!
But seriously, my last date ended up stating that our kids would look gorgeous and I laughed and then I realized she was serious and really wanted kids. That instant. On our first date. I couldn't make this up if I tried.
So, a little about myself. Gosh, I hate self summaries. I work in tech, have a large variety of nerdy/geeky interests ranging from computer games to board games, love to read and write, am a huge fan of trying out new cuisines and cooking and although it always sounds cliche, love to travel. I've had the luck to travel and live in quite a few different places and I'm always looking to do more of it.
I'm pretty political so full warning. Definitely left leaning, pro feminism/LGBTQ and trans rights and disgusted with the current administration although SNL/late night talk shows have never been funnier due to the vast amount of material they have to work with. Still sad but I'm not giving up.
So, you wonder, what am I looking for? And frankly, my dear, I have no idea. Someone to make a connection with, ideally long lasting and much more than platonic. Oh, yeah. I'm not looking for just friends, sorry!
Someone who is ideally closeby, who can challenge me, who is in a good spot in life with clear cut passions and interests. Similar or different than mine, it doesn't matter, as long as you enjoy them. I'm always willing to learn about new interests. Sense of humor a must, and someone who is a smart ass and can give back as much as they can take. Did I mention I like to be challenged?
