Etiquette when there is 5 minutes of sun left?

Just trying to get other people's opinion. The other day I was reading a thread about letting a solo play through, and someone gave a response about it being pointless if there's 4 or 5 more foursomes, it made me think of this differently as I play as a solo a lot after work.

So here's my question. Do you all play with a bigger sense of urgency when the sun is close to setting? Today me and 3 other solos got behind a 4 some on 16. The 2 solos joined up on 17. While I teed off the par 3 16th. They teed off 17 and then waited in the fairway for a good but while these guys read putts from each side, etc. I then met up with the 2some on 18, they invited me to join, I declined and just said I would go in as the fiancé was cooking dinner. So they tee of 18 after waiting for 4 or 5 minutes as the guys take 7 8 practice swings, change clubs once. Then reenact their swing after obviously mishitting their approach shots. All fine with me, if there isn't clearly people behind you and the sun is almost to the point you can't track ball flight anymore. I'm assuming they were part of an out of town resort group, maybe playing a money game. I obviously have an opinion on this, just wondering if anyone else has an opinion as well? What would you do in this situation?
