Tokyo - 4 Nights
Day 1 - July 12th
* Arrive in Tokyo
* Take JR Narita Express (NEX) from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station (53 min)
* Check into hotel
* Try not to die because of Jet lag
* Rest/Explore for evening


Day 2 - July 13th
* Akihabara
* Explore/shop


Day 3 - July 14th
* Asakusa
10 minute walk/train to Kappabashi
* Kappabashi (Kamata open until 6pm)
20 minute train/30 minute walk to Ueno
* Ueno Park (Places here open until roughly 4-6pm)
40 minute train to Roppongi
* Roppongi Hills Mori Tower (Open until 9pm)
* Mori Art Museum (Open until 10pm, $19)
* Observation Deck (Open until 11pm, $21)
* Shopping/Food


Day 4 - July 15th
* Shibuya
Walk 20 minutes, or take 12 minute train to Harajuku
* Harajuku
Walk 12 minutes to Meiji Shrine
* Meiji Shrine (Open 24 hours, Treasure House Open until 4pm, $6) and Omotesando
Walk 10 minutes to Yoyogi Park
* Yoyogi Park (Open 24 hours, free)
* Return to hotel after Yoyogi
* Shinjuku (nightlife – if have time)
Go to Kyoto in morning.

Kyoto - 3 Nights
Day 5 - July 16th
* Kyoto Imperial Palace (Arrive 45 minutes before the tour you want to join. Open until 5pm, Free)
30 minute bus ride to Kinkakuji
* Kinkakuji (Open until 5pm, $5)


Day 6 – July 17th * Gion Matsuri, Yamaboko Junko (Starts from Yasaka Shrine)(Starts at 6pm) Image


Day 7 – July 18th
* Tea Ceremony Room Juan (1hr lesson, earliest is 11am, $57.45)
30 minute train ride to Kokedera
* Kokedera (Requires reservation, $35)
One hour, 13min train to Kiyomizudera
* Kiyomizudera (Open until 6pm, $5)
35 minute train ride to Fushimi Inari
* Fushimi Inari Shrine (Open 24 hours, Free)
Leave for Nara in morning.

Nara - 1 Night
Day 8 – July 19th
* Todaiji Temple (Open until 5:30pm, $6)
10 minute walk to Nara Park
* Nara Park (Open 24 hours, Free)
14 minute walk to Kofukuji Temple
* Kofukuji Temple (Open until 5:00pm, $3.5)
7 minute walk to Nara National Museum
* Nara National Museum (Open until 5:00pm, $6)
Leave for Mt. Koya in morning.

(transfer to Nankai Railway at Hashimoto Station and go to Gokurakubashi, 45 minute train)
(take cable car to climb mountain, take bus to the town center)

Mt. Koya (Koyasan) - 1 Night
Day 9 – July 20th
*Arrive and check in luggage with monks if too early to check in
*Explore for the day
*Return to temple for dinner
*Wake up extremely early (6am) to see rituals
Leave for Osaka in morning.

(3 hour travel time to Osaka, similar process from Nara to Koyasan)

Osaka - 1 Night
Day 10 – July 21st
* Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine (Open until 5pm, Free)
30 minute train to Nishikujo Station (to go to Sushi Cooking)
* Sushi Cooking Class in Osaka (4pm, 2.5 hours long)
14 minute train to Dotonbori
* Dotonbori (shopping)
Leave for Hakone in morning.

Day 11 – July 22nd
* Stay for the night

* Tokyo National Museum (Open until 5pm, $7)
12 minute walk to Toshogu
* Toshogu Shrine (Open until 4:30pm, Free (Inner Shrine, $6. Garden, $7)) Shopping/whatever


Day 13 – July 24th
* Explore/shopping/whatever?
* Studio Ghibli Museum


Day 14 – July 25th
Explore/shopping/whatever??


Day 15 – July 26th
