Rejoice! Coming back to the city I was born and raised in. I am in the process of going over plans for renovating a home in north end near Kandle Park. My issue is that there is no access to natural gas, as there is no line in the street to hook up to. I am curious how to make things efficient. I know I want to do some sort of ductless heating, and a induction range for cooking so save on energy cost. My question is, does Tacoma power cost a arm and a leg? And do any of you use any energy saving appliances and can offer advice? Its a 3 bedroom 2 full bath 1400 SQFT rambler.
