I'm building an app for hunters and fishers. We're looking for our first batch of early participants. We'll be sending out a survey soon, but need to get 1,000 people signed up first! To thank folks for the help, we're giving out some Yetis and free stickers!
In short, I'm building a social network for hunters and fishers. But it's more than that.
We’re crafting a community where outdoorsmen and women can engage, interact and learn. No B.S. No politics. Just good ol’ wholesome conversation about what drives us — hunting, fishing and exploring the wild. A lot of it you guys are doing here, but we're going to have sorting features and an intelligent algorithm that will help sort content that's relevant to you, the sports you love and the area you hunt.
We have an incredibly detailed plan to build an app that focuses on utility that hunters need, and rewards them for their time spent on the app. We’re not here to give you yet another place to read a status update. We’re here to build a platform that fits your lifestyle. Our app will integrate into every aspect of the hunt – scouting, hunting, cleaning, cooking. We'll help people track their game, so no more digging through thousands of photos when you're trying to show your big buck to a friend.
A few specific features for phase I: Real Rewards Hey, that photo got more attention than anyone else's this week. Great job. Here's a Yeti. That's right — GoWild plans to have rewards for when your photos crush it.
Tag Tracker GoWild will track your kills. That means no more digging through the thousands of photos on your phone to show a buddy last year's buck.
Hunt & Gear Swaps Hunting leases are for the rich. Find regular folks like you who have land they'd let you hunt. It's not just land — you'll be able to trade your gear on GoWild, too.
Wild Recipes So you got a freezer full of meat? Great. Unless you suck at cooking. Don't worry — GoWild will have long-form content, not only teaching you how to hunt, but how to cook your kills.

Also, i would love to just hear your thoughts on what you'd like to be able to do with a hunting or fishing app that you can't currently! Let's build something awesome!
