Is she too careful or am I stupid? Thinking puppet. Trusting puppet?

sorry if this too long. See tl;dr at the bottom.

I am a sub and my kink is being a puppet. We (F, F, about 30) do that since 2 years. If I drop into sub mode I enjoy to do what I am told. To be dressed up, tied up, played with, punished and/or rewarded. To be asked to behave.

All of that has limits. But I don't think or evaluate my D. I do all she asks me to do. It may sound weird, but I don't think, I do. That requires this extra trust. I get treated extremely well, but not fully based on trust.

Over time we started our games. Some about fitness and diets, body and looks, others about learning. Weight lifting, cooking course, finally finished my degree. My D is very / extremely / crazy / ... concerned for me. She makes my plans, researches a lot. When she does I have to read up as well. She insists that I know what she knows. About nutrition, sports physio, Yoga,... I have a really big library now.

Once I didn't go to my doc, and she nearly broke up. She is methodical and documents all, without gaps. Her point is that I could feel exploited once day. If that happens she wants that the papers are all complete. Including med records, and pictures. It's cold and methodical. And makes sense.

I still hate that. She even wants to make sure I don't trust anyone more than necessary. Someone could exploit this kind of kink. It's not hard to find it out, especially since we are doing this for so long. On the other hand she is extremely nice to me, and spends hours dressing me up, combing my hair etc.. sees that the cloths fit perfectly with the makeup. Goes through the fitness and health stuff. She knows more about me than I do. I get treated well. We trust each other, but she always makes sure there are records.

Tl;dr I am a puppet and my D documents everything methodically, because I could feel exploited one day. She wants me to educate myself so that I don't have to trust her. Is that usual for couples with a puppet sub? We don't have blind trust. D wants a thinking puppet.
