I'm currently living with my boyfriend of three years. We both do freelance work from home and lately my boyfriend has been making more, and also under more strict deadlines.
Several months ago we switched from splitting housework, to me doing it all so he could meet his deadline. I have kept it up because I've had a hard time finding good paying jobs and like having a clean house. He disliked doing housework and sometimes did a very sloppy job. I also have way more experience cooking and shopping for bargains.
So what do you think all this work is worth?
Edit: To clarify, we share everything 50/50 and keep our finances separate.
