What spices work with rice, sausage and beans?

I forgot to cancel a transaction from my bank, and it has left me tight for $$$. Bought some regular pork sausage, raw red beans and brown rice because it's cheap. Going to cook it in my slow cooker with chicken stock and onion chopped small. What spices should I add?
