Hey everyone, just started my journey with my slowcooker yesterday (beef gyros were a success!) and now I have my eyes set on tacos.
This is an incredibly basic noob question and I thank you in advance for humoring me.
I have everything I need, chicken breasts, frozen bell peppers and onions, black beans, corn, taco seasoning (poor and lacking fresh spices) and cilantro. I'm wondering if I should hold off on the beans and corn until later in the process or if I should throw them in at the beginning? Not sure how they will break down or affect the flavors over 8 hours.
Also someone I have been seeing lately is coming over to feast with me (first time in my life cooking for a romantic interest, even if it is a casual meal) so if you have any ideas to kick it up a notch or a special ingredient, I'm open to suggestions!
Thank you once again!
