I had always had a fondness for working in the kitchen. The smells of cooking meat, spices and seasonings, the warmth that emanates from the place and the closeness it can bring. It had always been a close love of mine.
Which was why it was made all the more horrible that everything I cook is an utter disaster. Food burned, grew hard and overcooked or simply tasted bad. I had, in my lifetime, been unable to make anything decent. But that was about to change.
I had signed up for a cooking class, and here I was, eager and ready. I approached the large, squat building with a bit of trepidation. This was a class specifically for beginners and yet I still found myself terrified of how I might embarrass myself, how poorly I might do.
But there's nothing for that. I just had to bull forward, and so in I went. It took a few minutes of wandering the hallways before I find the room, a relatively large and open area with a variety of ovens and ranges, counters and cupboards. I grinned excitedly as I headed in and found a station to stand at, already anticipating the good that would come of this.
Hey, thanks for stopping by and reading. As you may have noticed I left this fairly open ended in the hopes of coming to details about our characters and the story we plan on having together. I am generally looking for a longer term sort of roleplay with replies that feature decent grammar and good detail.
