[SPOILERS] Just a few tips on weapons, food and cooking

  • If you have more apples than you know what to do with, I recommend throwing a bunch on an open fire to make them into baked apples. Sure, they only restore .75 hearts, but unlike cooked meals, baked or roasted foods stack instead of taking up multiple slots in your inventory. This can make for a handy emergency supply.
  • Cooking during a blood moon guarantees your meals will receive a bonus.
  • There's two skull-caves surrounded by watch-towers in the southwest corner of Gerudo Desert. Sneak up the back of the east-most skull, use your bow to assassinate the four watch-tower Bokoblins without raising the alarm, and then carefully retrieve their weapons. Each one yields a Knight's Bow.
  • At the base of Akkala Tower, there's a Bokoblin with a Knight's Shield and Knight's Broadsword. Harvest this guy after every blood moon, and you'll never run out of high-quality weapons.
  • Stal-moblins usually carry good-quality weapons, and die in two hits. Possibly the best bang-for-buck enemies in the game.
  • When exploring, try to keep a couple of low-quality weapons on hand to deal with low-level enemies. Nothing worse than breaking your Knight's Claymore on a goddamn Chu Chu.

Hope these help!
