Only tested with the stick grenade but if you hit square/X/reload whilst cooking you can cancel the animation and save a grenade, quite handy if you're being shot at or the person you're trying to nade is already dead. Doesn't work with AT grenades and haven't tested the other grenade slot grenades but I think it works for all of them. I don't know if this is common knowledge or not.
