Has anyone tried cooking with flavored bourbon? I know I can do something with maple bourbon and salmon but I'm not sure where to start

I was gifted a bottle of Jim Beam Maple (which is great by the way) and I thought it would be good with salmon, but I'm not sure how to go about it. How would one prepare a 'maple bourbon glaze'?
