Heya!
I will be moving to Kyoto for 3/4 months and I would like to improve my rather basic Japanese. I am very motivated and I think I am a fast learner. I also love cooking (I am vegetarian, so I want to try to make the vegetarian version of typical dishes) and culture (history, crafts, woodwork, etc.).
I would like to exchange that for some of my skills, so it wouldn't necessarily be a normal language exchange.
Here are the things I can teach you:
- Anything IT-related: Programming, Video Game Development, Networking, QA, Security, Architecture, Management, etc.
- Photography/Filmography: Made several short movies and I have been doing photography for 8 years
- World Culture: I have lived in 8 countries and visited 50. I can tell you about other countries, teach you some specific recipe and more.
- Cooking: I can teach you from the basics to more elaborate dishes and recipes
- Languages: I can speak fluently Italian, English, French and Spanish. I can understand and read Swedish and a bit of Finnish. I can give you some basic lessons on Luganda.
If there is anything else, ask away, I might help out :)
Basically, I would like to have a fun way to improve my Japanese, learn things from some local and perhaps have a friend for doing fun things together.
I haven't seen anything similar on previous posts but I thought I'd give it a try!
