Hey guys,
Fast food junkie here with a goal this year of eating meat only two days out of every week. I feel switching to a primarily-vegetarian diet will have several benefits:
1) It'll cause me to eat healthier and more nutritiously 2) It'll cause me to cook at home much more frequently 3) It's more sustainable and healthier for the planet I live on. 4) It's the largest middle-finger I can give factory farms at this point.
The issue is, I've never eaten vegetarian. The only days I remember eating remotely vegetarian are when I was a kid and my parents forced Lenten Fridays on me. Furthermore, my cooking skills and experience are negligible.
What's the easiest and best way to get started? What foods/meals should I focus on? What should I keep in mind? Etc.
A sincere thank you for helping me get off to a good start on this. Appreciate all the upcoming advice and feedback
