One of the greatest qualities of The Donald is that he emotes. For the past eight years, we've had a stoic president who did dick-all except plunge the economy further. We had no idea what he was thinking at any given moment, and he was probably scheming about his spirit cooking cult the entire time for all we know.
Trump is honest and open about EVERYTHING. He's incapable of shady scheming because he's out in the open. He tells you what he's going to do and to what end it'll serve the country.
I think people hate Trump because they're so used to such a stoic president who doesn't talk at all, and now that they have someone whose communication borders are completely open, they're... shocked. The thing is, the media has made it tendy to hate Trump, so on the outside everyone calls him a loudmouth.
But, on the inside, subconsciously or consciously, they're just not used to this much honesty.
