Over-salted soup! How can I redeem it?

I made split pea and ham soup the other night. I tasted it, not salty. Added some salt, TOO SALTY. It was almost inedible. I added some water and was able to eat it, but I have a couple of quarts of it left and short of just making MORE split pea and ham soup to cut it with, what can be done? How can it be reused?

My partner suggested using it as a base or filler for other meals but I'm not sure where to go with it. I'm hoping for ideas or suggestions about possible uses for salty ham and pea soup, or am I doomed to keep adding peas and ham to my problem and hope it evens out?
