I am exploring the option of buying a step down (240 -110) transformer for a home cooking appliance thus about about 1000W@50Hz. When searching online retail from China, I am finding a great variation of price, as low as $30 upwards of $500.
I was hoping that someone had a explanation -if any- to account for the massive difference in price when they basically have the same basic specification and design.
