My mother was busy cooking a few hours ago, when she got a message from work. A client wanted her to find someone to show them a house today. Today - at 1pm on Christmas Eve, someone thought this was a reasonable request. She dismissed it, and rightfully so.
Yes, the game has numerous bugs at the moment. Yes, the update screwed up several necessary modes. Yes, releasing a major patch a few days before a massive holiday was not the best idea. Yes, it's making the game far less fun than it should be. But it's Christmas Eve, and it's a safe bet most of their programmers are at home, as they should be. Give them the holiday weekend to be with their families, and trust that they're going to get right on top of these problems Monday.
In the meantime, enjoy what you can in this game, other games, and with friends and family.
