Hey everybody, I already posted this on some other subreddits, but I thought it might be worth sharing over here as well. I'm sharing an experience I had a few years back and see if anything similar has happened to anyone.
So a few years back I was up camping with a few good friends. It was mostly what you'd expect from a bunch of people in their mid 20's, drinking, cooking, games, and music around the fire. One night though one of the fellow campers brought some mushrooms out and myself as well as a few others dug in to enjoy a night trip at our site. Things were going great for the first part of the experience, I was seeing some tracers, getting really introspective and having a blast playing some guitar. Sometime midway through the experience I decided to take a toke off a bong that was being passed around. I knew this wasn't a good idea as every time I've been drinking and smoke weed I get terrible spins and have to lie down. So after taking a toke, I soon found myself inside my tent, nauseously spinning around and around in my head.
This is where things get interesting though. When I closed my eyes to try to calm myself down I was confronted with some very strong visuals. I saw a very distinct formation of lines that were all moving around, unfolding (hard to explain), and realigning in an exact way. There were also these kind of curved triangles that were also rotating along with the lines and everything was moving in total synchronicity. It's the only time I've ever really been able to ascribe the word "Perfect" to anything.
So when I was seeing this with my eyes closed and in my mind I though, "Wow, that's amazing, but what is that?" Then seemingly right as I became aware of what I was seeing, it's as if a voice, or greater presence spoke through of from the pattern and said (not audibly but more intuitively, psychicly) "Hey kid, what you're seeing right now, this is really special and important. Go seek it out, and you'll know what to do when you find what you're looking for."
After getting that message I shot my eyes open and wondered if that actually happened or if I fell asleep for a second. I know that I wasn't asleep during that experience. Still not feeling well I decided I'd shut my eyes and just go to sleep. Waking up the next morning I still thought about what happened and whether it was actually real or not. Since it left such an impression I had to believe it was real.
After getting back to some internet access I began searching. I studied and read about Geometry, because I could tell that it had been some form of Geometry. Long story short I eventually stumbled across Sacred Geometry and found that the pattern I had seen within myself was actually The Flower of Life. After doing more studying and research my direction was eventually did become clear, though I'm not going to get into that part now.
So yeah, just wondering if anyone out there has ever had something like this occur to them. Like I say, it's been a few year, I'm just feeling like I need to know if there are any others out there.
