I searched but I couldn't find the answer. I just bought the new Anova model. Now I'm looking to make/buy some kind of cooking vessel for longer cooks. In its website Anova specifies the minimum level of water, the maximum and that it has 360 degrees of circulation.
For a test cook I tried using a beer cooler I had around the house, the thing is that while the Anova from the clamp to bottom is around 20cm. My cooler is from part where I can clamp the Anova to bottom is 35cm.
By touching it from the outside I get the feeling that the bottom water is not as hot as the top.
Does anyone has a value for the maximum distance between bottom of Anova to bottom of cooking vessel?
