Foils with purple side are BAD

Today I learned how to make your hair (accidentally) purple.

I mixed up flashlift, 30 volume and olaplex. Did about 15 or so foils with silver side in, purple side out.

Mixed up my root color, pravana 6.22 and 20 volume. Going about my business putting my root color on and inbetween the foils.

About a 1/4 way into the color I decide to do a quick foil peak and OMFG so lucky I did because the purple from the foil was transferring to my hair!!!!

Very quickly tried to fix the areas affected and had to wind up using the flashlift on some areas as I had to choose between that at least having olaplex in it or purple hair.

Did the rest in plain old cooking foil.

Cut development time short as soon as I saw decency and rinsed. Threw in olaplex 2 and daringly applied the last bit of mixed flashlift on some warm areas and hoped for the best. Then grew more daring and painted a little free style color on the hair line as some areas looked splotchy.

Now sitting with olaplex 3 and hoping I don't want to dye my whole head after I dry it. I may have ended my almost 3 year long blonde-streak.

Lesson learned #1 fancy colored foils are bad and #2 olaplex can be your saving grace.
