[Help] Reusing old LR in running Aquarium

Hello, I know this is a frequently asked question but everything I read online doesn't necessarily align to my exact circumstances.

I've been running a 125g for about 6-7 years now. It went well for awhile but due to life stuff I slowly stopped working on it. I had a couple fish but after 4-5yrs most had died for one reason or another. Then my lights went out and it took awhile to start running new ones. Now I have new lights, cleaned up the tank, just grabbed a chromis, and everything is looking good (0 Am, 0 NO2/3 etc.).

The main question is that somewhere during that time I took around a third of my LR out to let algae die off (probably frustration more than anything). But since I'm trying to get it all back together I'd like to get that stuff back in. However, I've read a lot about it and can't seem to find a consensus. Some people say a vinegar bath and a lot of scrubbing and rinsing should be fine. I've read about muriatic acid baths and "cooking" the rock. I'm honestly just not sure what is necessary for what, because this rock didn't come from somewhere mysterious, but I also don't need to cycle my tank again. So the question is how do I get my old live rock back to a state I can use it in my running tank right now.

Sorry if this was long and rambling, just wanted to give all the info. Thanks for the help!
