Personally i find the tutorial to be a bit dull and incoherent and it doesn't seem like it would be all that appealing to new players, so i've made a short list of some possible things that could be improved on:
1). Location - Agoroth seems quite bright and basic, I personally think the starting point should be Burthorpe. All the skilling mentors are located there and could be used to help new players be introduced to what skills can be trained in game. Also might be useful to explain how the skills link with one another, for instance fishing, firemaking and cooking link in making food.
2). Combat Academy - I think this would be the ideal location to teach new players how the combat system works. With Agoroth and The Path, the information giving on combat seems quite incoherent whereas with the combat academy it seems to flow quite well. Also mentioning the different settings for combat, such as Revolution/Manual and EoC/Legacy would be good.
3). Interface - Show how the interface can be adjusted to your liking, as well as introducing the tabs such as worn equipment.
4). The Path - This is decent as it makes use of introductory quests but I think it would be better if it came after the player has learnt from the above first.
5). World Map - Remove or reconsider the huge membership symbols that cover the map in member areas for f2p players as they get in the way.
6). Bank - show how presets work and how the banks across the map can be used to store items.
7). Task system (Achievements) - This could be used to introduce the basics of the game.
etc.
Even simple stuff like how you can right-click and examine items for more information, or how you can toggle Run on and off would be worth a mention
