I've had these cast irons for about 2 years now and have been seasoning with whatever cooking oil I have around, generally olive oil or vegetable oil. I just got some flax seed oil and I'm wondering if I should strip my coatings before applying this to it.
Should I strip? How would I go about that? How would I re-season if I do strip?
